There is a very popular saying "Prevention is always better than cure" and the same applies when it comes to stress. You have to first figure out the stress triggers and note it down in a notebook. Trust me, if I had faced the similar situation, I would have said the same.

We have to prioritize our work to increase our efficiency on a professional as well as personal level.

In life, a lot of things are not under our control. In times of difficult situation, we need to be positive and only control of things that are under our control.

Self-help technique is a great stress buster indeed. Try to think before reacting whenever you are in a stressful situation. I will request you to take 3 to 4 deep breaths once you feel stressed. Try to find out some type for some relaxation techniques like Meditation to take psychological stress under your control.

One thing that has really worked for me over the years is speaking slowly in the stressful situation. By lowering your tone and speed of speech in a stressful situation, you get more time to think before taking any action.

Always drink plenty of water and take snacks in a short interval. It will definitely prevent you from becoming a victim of anxiety and instant stress.

According to psychologist Amy Cuddyfaking powerful body language can make you feel confident and at times can help you reduce stress. For example, if you are going to an important meeting faking body language for a short duration can be of great help.

Sometimes switching off the phone is all you need to do. A series of notification and continuous phone ringing can turn your mood off.

According to WebMD, research has shown that stress level reduces drastically for the people who laugh whole-heartedly while watching a comedy movie or doing something hilarious.

Do you remember, when was the last time when you laughed so badly that your stomach ached?

According to a new study, laughter can reduce cortisol level aka "stress hormones".

Learn to say NO- It's good to think of others and help them but it's always great to learn to say NO.

I am sharing my own experience. There have been times when to just keep my friends happy I have said YES for something I was really NOT interested in doing.

Late night parties and trying some drugs just to be a part of a group has but be under tremendous stress. Anyways later I understood the situation and parted away from my friend circle.

It was a tough decision but it was meant to be.

Later on in my life, I realized that it was one of the important decision in my life.

While we are traveling, we get an opportunity to meet new people, new environment and of course a new kinda of a daily routine. A sudden change in all these parameters is definitely a booster.


The best part about holidays and traveling is that you are giving break to your stressful mind. You don't need to think of daily stressful targets and conversation. All these days while you are traveling you are taking out time for yourself. It really helps to recuperate.
