Physical Signs Of Stress | What you don't know about it?

Are you aware of the physical signs of stress?

physical signs of stress

In this article, we will talk about the physical signs of stress. As discussed in the last article, awareness is the key to get rid of stress. In developed countries, people are aware of the stress symptoms, stress-related health problems and the ways to get rid of it.

When it comes to developing and underdeveloped countries, things are very different. The knowledge, as well as awareness about the stress and depression, is very less. Most of the people in these countries are unaware of the psychiatrists and neurologists. Though there is a ray of hope in these countries with an increase in demand for education still it's a long way to go.

I want to help people by creating awareness through this blog. The physical sign of stress can act as a catalyst when it comes to awareness.

Let's discuss these signs one-by-one [Physical Signs Of Stress]

Low Energy- If suddenly you have started feeling low. The level of energy in your body has reduced drastically then you may be having a high level of stress. To keep a track of it, make a timetable and then keep a regular CHECK of your energy level. In case the problem persists on a regular basis, please contact a psychiatrist.

Let's understand it with an example.

There were two friends Mr. Davidson and Mr. Johnson. Both of them were athletes. They almost follow the same diet plan. The qualifying test was coming closer. Suddenly Mr. Johnson started feeling low on energy. He was surprised as he hasn't changed anything when it comes to his daily routine. Slowly and gradually, the energy level of Mr. Johnson started decreasing more and more. He started losing interest in the physical activities like long jump, short jump etc. At one point of time, he totally gave up. His friend Mr. Davidson was aware of his problem to some extent. One day in the evening Mr. Davidson dropped down to Mr. Johnson house and found his friend very low on energy. By seeing the condition of his friend, Mr. Davidson decided to contact the doctor. The doctor asked Mr. Johson to undergo a few tests. The test result came and Mr. Johson was asked to consult a psychiatrist. With the passage of time, Mr. Johnson started feeling well.

To make you understand, sometimes the attack of stress can be very harmful to your mental health. It can lead to hazardous implication.

If the same problem would have persisted in countries like India, Pakistan then trusts me it would have been extremely difficult to get out of the situation.

A very important point I would like to discuss related to stress and depression. It has been found in various research that stress leads to alcoholism. The more an individual is stressed out or depressed the more he will try to intake alcohol.

alcohol and stress statistics

The above diagram is self-explanatory and with the help of various models, it explains the impact of stress on alcoholism.

In short, we can take the interference that the work stressor plays a crucial role in the addiction of alcohol by an individual.

On the other hand, stress also causes constipation. My advice is you should definitely consult a doctor in case you are experiencing these symptoms on a regular basis or before any major events.

Tense Muscles, Aches, and Pains- Sometimes you may feel tense muscles, aches, and pains in a different part of your bodies. It is normal to experience such pains in case you are doing a  lot of physical work or you are sitting in front of a computer and working for a long time. Most of us have definitely experienced such pain. Isn't it? Mostly these kinds of pain go after doing some physical exercise but if the pain still persists after seeing a doctor or taking medicine then stress may be the reason behind the pain.
